ash22 was the only person to go a perfect 6-0 by taking Lodi over Columbus, but it's not enough to get out of the basement. wishfootball also missed on New Glarus/Cambridge and falls from the top spot into a tie for 2nd.

This week's games:

Belleville (2-3, 0-1) at Waterloo (5-0, 1-0)
Cambridge (4-1, 1-0) at Wisconsin Heights (2-3, 0-1)
New Glarus/Monticello (1-4, 0-1) at Marshall (5-0, 1-0)
Lakeside Lutheran (3-2, 1-0) at Lodi (4-1, 1-0)
Columbus (4-1, 0-1) at Poynette (5-0, 1-0)
Luther Prep (2-3, 0-1) at Lake Mills (1-4, 0-1)

Belleville at Waterloo - I think this game has potential upset written all over it. If it were at Belleville, I'd probably take the Wildcats ... but it's not. Pirates by 7

Cambridge at Wisconsin Heights - the Vanguards should have easier games the next two weeks, but this one is going to be a long night. Bluejays by 35.

New Glarus/Monticello as Marshall - the Glarner Knights get into the "easy" part of the conference schedule after this week ... but that's a week away. Cardinals by 40.

Lakeside Lutheran at Lodi - the last time the Blue Devils lost a conference game, it was in 2012 to the Warriors. That was 2 years ago, and a different Warriors team. Blue Devils by 17.

Columbus at Poynette - The Pumas have owned this series back to the mid-90s and it's in Poynette. After Friday night, I'm hard pressed to find a reason to take the Cardinals here. Pumas by 6.

Luther Prep at Lake Mills - this is also another game where one team (Luther Prep) has a streak going back to 2012 and a game against the other (Lake Mills), except here the Phoenix have lost 8 straight. They snap the streak against an L-Cats team that looks to be squarely on the ropes since beating Wisconsin Dells back in Week 2. Phoenix by 11.

Belleville at Waterloo- I think this game could come down to the wire tonight. I mean if Waterloo is not on their A game tonight they could possible let this one slip by. In my opinion I think Belleville could surprise some teams this year. Waterloo being one of them and sneak into the playoffs. But with this game being home for Loo I think they should take it. Loo by 14

Cambridge at Wisconsin Heights- Cambridge played well last week even with a few guys out. I was honestly surprised to see them crush NG. Owens is really good this year and is even bigger than last season. He will run all over Heights. Cambridge wins big with running clock.

NGM at Marshall- I don't see this game being as close as last year. NGM is just down and they look rough. Marshall is the better team this year and will show that tonight. But you never know in this conference any team can get the upset on any given night. Marshall by 21

Lakeside Lutheran at Lodi- LL has won three straight games but then again who have they played that's tough. Lodi has had the tougher road so far. I mean they beat Columbus in a very close game last week I was shocked. Lodi by 14

Columbus at Poynette- This may be the game of the week here. Columbus is coming off a loss and wants to take it out on the Pumas. I think the Pumas are a good and tough team but I don't see them beating Columbus. If anything I think they will beat Lodi and it will be a three way tie. Cards by 14

Luther Prep at Lake Mills- I don't know what happened last week but Luther Prep just got demolished by Poynette. Lake mills is not as good as Prep and they will show that tonight. Prep by 7

Waterloo by 14, lincks is back tonight and that changes a lot of things.

Cambridge by 28, they will steam roll heights

Marshall by 21, new Garlus does know how to beat them

Lodi by 28, lakeside is coming off a big win but so is lodi!

Columbus by 7, they will be motivated after last weeks heart breaker and the Pumas get their first real test of the year!

Luther prep by 14, they will snap the streak at lake mills, and their will be a lot of throwing in this one.

Belleville at Waterloo - Throw the records out the window, no matter what, the last few times these two have played, it's been a solid ballgame. I'd be more inclined to take the Wildcats in an upset if it was in Belleville as well, but since we're in Pirate Country, I'll take the home team.

Cambridge
at Wisconsin Heights - Bummer that this was Heights' draw for Homecoming. They'll be fired up, but the size and Josh Owens will wear down Heights pretty quick.

NGM at Marshall - This could get ugly.

Lakeside at Lodi - Wish this wasn't such an easy pick.

Columbus at Poynette - Bucking the trend on this one. Hoping it pays off.

WLP at Lake Mills - Bucking the trend, part deux. It's in the pit, so why not?

The scores from last week:

-- Waterloo 47, Belleville 36
-- Cambridge 38, Wisconsin Heights 0
-- Marshall 29, New Glarus/Monticello 0
-- Poynette 31, Columbus 12
-- Lodi 42, Lakeside Lutheran 14
-- Lake Mills 38, Luther Prep 7

The only surprise for me is the last game. The L-Cats have been such a Jekyll-and-Hyde team this year; the only consistency they've shown is inconsistency.
