Badgers managed to steal a win from Maryland yesterday thanks to some late-game Brad Davison heroics, 56-54.

Ford and Trice remained largely ineffective, with Reuvers, Davison and Potter carrying the offensive load. Potter only played 13 minutes as he struggled mightily on defense. It just seems like a game-to-game thing in finding the right lineups, meaning Gard has to be some sort of magician to get it just right.
3 consecutive wins over top-25 teams ... #5 Ohio St, #20 Penn St, #18 Maryland.

Ballsy 4 to 5-second sequence by Badger guard Brad Davison with approx. 14 seconds remaining in the game ... first the disruption of a Maryland inbounds pass under the UW basket resulting in a Terrapins turnover.  And then, following a UW timeout, a cold-blooded trey by Davison from deep in the right corner coming off a pair of screens by Brevin Pritzl & Nate Reuvers on the Badgers' inbounds pass from under their own basket with 10 seconds showing on the clock.

Game Recap & Box Score:

Bucky returns to action Friday night (1/17) at #15 Michigan St.  Tip-off is 6:00 pm CST and will be televised live on  FS1 .
