Wisconsin wins the first set against the defending National Champion Texas Longhorns, 25-19.

Unlike the rosters of many of the other Badger teams, the Wisconsin Volleyball team has just two natives of Wisconsin on it, with all of their starters being out-of-state players.

Glad I took a look through the TV guide to see if anything was on, this has been fun to watch.
If you were right, I'd agree with you

First time I am getting to watch Badger's volleyball (or any college volleyball for that manner) this year, but boy is Carlini the real deal. Well placed and well distributed sets not allowing the Longhorns block to get set up, and as a result Texas is on their heels playing tentatively.

Make it two sets to nothing.... Need to win one of the last three sets to play for a National Championship.

Apparently the Big Ten is really good at Women's Volleyball. In the last 7 years, it has placed 10 teams in the Final Four. 5 different schools. Impressive.

Struggled through a couple things in the 3rd and 4th sets, but in the end an amazing win for the Badgers!

After spending countless hours at club and high school volleyball tournaments, I'll say there is nothing more enjoyable then watching a smaller, athletic team frustrate a big hitting, big blocking team. Wisconsin is obviously extremely well-coached and talented defensively. Carlini is incredible. She makes setting look easier than it is.
Penn State looks scary good though. Good luck to the badgers.

.532 is an absurd hitting percentage from Penn St. in the first two games.
