This is already irrelevant.  While they could withdraw later, Poole and Iggy have both already declared for the draft.

Harbaugh will have Urban Meyer retired from OSU by 2020.

This is like the pre-early departures Top 25, and then they'll have another one after everyone makes their decision. Then we'll get another one after all the transfers settle on their new teams. Then...

I haven't seen any respectable draft rankings that have them anywhere close to being a first round pick.  ESPN has Poole at # 66 and Brazdeikis at #48.  The Athletic has Poole at # 60 and Brazdeikis not even in the Top 100.   The writer, Sam Vecenie had this to say about both players: "  But I think Brazdeikis should go back, personally. He'd be the favorite for Big 10 POY, and could maybe go about helping his stock by proving to NBA evaluators that he can be a consistent shooter (that was a question coming into this year) in addition to a more impactful defender.   Poole, that dude is just wild inconsistent. All the skill in the world."

Marquette was # 2 in ESPN's early top 25.  They were #7 in the CBS Sports early top 25.  In the early top 25 from The Athletic they were at # 35 and Wisconsin was at #31 in their early top 25.

Seth Davis put out the one from the Athletic. The one from ESPN was from someone I've never heard of, and he had Marquette at #2.

ESPN's was by Jeff Borzello who is their college basketball recruiting guy.

I don't follow ESPN's recruiting coverage much so that makes sense why I didn't recognize the name.

Marquette returns like 97% of their scoring and like 500 games worth of college experience next year...the goals should be lofty, not sure what the reality will be. They have a few guys who I think have topped out as far as their ceiling goes, but have some other guys who could certainly lift up the program.

I would concur with this. I think they will be very good, but don't know if I believe they'll get over the hump. How much will Joey Hauser improve? He hit the freshmen wall late in the season, but that could be the guy to help at least get them to the 2nd round of the tourney.

Insider reports are the Iggy is 100% gone.  He apparently would rather go to the G league or overseas and develop vs coming back.

Poole is reportedly a big question mark.

I agree with you 100%.  I was blown away when their names came up.  Though I do believe every kid should go through the process every year.  Get feedback and learn what the NBA wants you to work on.  That being said, it sounds like Iggy is not coming back.
