It's Alabama v. Clemson - Round 3.

Imo, this game comes down to which defense makes more big plays (or which offense avoids the negative plays).

I believe Alabama has a slight edge and will win the turnover battle. I see them winning 31-24.
Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory, lasts forever.

I just think Bama is slightly better all-around.  I will be interested to see in the Clemson d-line vs the Bama o-line matchup.  If Clemson can get some pressure on Tua they very well might win.  I will be pulling for Clemson.....I despise the gumps.

31–16 Clemson at the half. Alabama’s “all world” defense is getting gashed and Clemson’s offensive line is man handling Alabama’s d line, giving Trevor Lawrence all day to throw. This is the same Alabama team that ran right through the SEC. Maybe the big bad SEC isn’t all it’s cracked up to be?

I didn't think it would be this type of game.....It's amazing how average Saban's defenses look when he plays a team with equal talent & a quarterback that can make plays.   I can see why he wants no part of the NFL, he needs superior talent/control for his systems to work.

After an awfully drawn-up fake FG by Alabama failed miserably. Lawrence hits Justyn Ross who sprints to the end zone for a 74-yard score. Another doinked XP though.

This post pretty much sums up Saban and Alabama’s perceived “dominance”. Don’t get me wrong, what Saban and Alabama have accomplished over the years is impressive, but it feels somewhat manufactured and fake. Basically 2/3 of the population is located in the south, so the recipe is simply to recruit the best athletes and manipulate your schedule so that you never leave the south to play a true road game or play anywhere where the temperature drops below 60 degrees...just operate in prime conditions all the time and overwhelm 99% of teams with your talent.

I’m not a huge NFL fan and prefer college, but one thing I like about the NFL is that teams can’t control their schedule or where they have to play. For example, the Rams or Saints have explosive offenses that are built for domes/warm weather, but they may actually have to travel to NY or Green Bay or Cleveland or whereever in December to play. I’d love to see Alabama travel to Camp Randall, or Michigan, or Ohio St in November and see how good they actually are. But they never will. The closest they come is “neutral” site games in the south where they enjoy a 75/25 crowd advantage.

After stopping Alabama again on 4th down deep in Clemson territory, Lawrence and Ross be-bop and scat their way down the field before Lawrence hits Higgins for a 5-yard score.
