Catholic Central at Martin Luther - BCC will put up a fight. They always do (when they're fielding a team), but Martin Luther is starting to find some footing beyond just the passing game. This one could get ugly.

Kenosha St. Joseph's at Shoreland Lutheran - KSJ finally went up against a quality opponent and weren't totally overwhelmed until halftime. The Lancers appear to be the best of that second-tier of Metro Classic teams and should prove it here. That said, KSJ has been noted for bizarre results in recent times, and while I wouldn't put them on upset watch here, they need to make sure they show up vs. all teams (perhaps excluding STM).

Saturday, 9/28

Racine St. Catherine's at Racine Lutheran - Well, here we are. For all the marbles, and for the time being the final scheduled (would make a great non-con going forward) battle between Racine's two parochial football teams. The Angels are better equipped to handle RaLu than Martin Luther was and Martin Luther had a shot to win at the end. I think though, even with perhaps only Tenner in the backfield that RaLu is hungrier. RSC reached the mountaintop last year while the Crusaders were denied it. That could play a big factor. It's an early kickoff, debating on going and how early should I get there? 😎

St. Thomas More at Dominican - Dominican is not having the year I think they were expecting, and while last year this was STM's best offensive showing in the least, and it might be again this year, it won't enough to overcome Dominican's weapons on the outside.

Just heard from a source that Martin Luther will be dealing with some injuries going into this one and the staff are unsure if the players in question will play. No specifics on who the players in question are but If it’s anyone major then we might be in for an interesting ball game.

No offense to BCC, but this is the type of game where a team like ML could afford to sit a few guys.

Catholic Central at Martin Luther - GML is faster and more athletic-- a lot faster and a lot more athletic. I honestly think BCC is the tougher football team here, but I don't see how they keep pace with the speed the Green Lutherans bring to the table.

Kenosha St. Joseph's at Shoreland Lutheran - KSJ can take a needed step toward playoff eligibility here if they can win this one, but don't count the Black Lutherans out. The distance between these two teams may not be that great. We'll find out this weekend.

Saturday, 9/28

Racine St. Catherine's "at" Racine Lutheran - This one is GOTW material regardless of division or enrollment size. RSC has owned this "rivalry" for most of the conference's history but the Purple Lutherans will be considered the favorite in 2019. They bring some talent back and in particular, probably the best player on the field... but I think the Angels are deeper, and I think that will make the difference in what ought to be a really good game.

St. Thomas More at Dominican - Dominican is another team STM should have some confidence against, but they had reason for confidence against BCC last week and that didn't work out so well either.

Catholic Central at Martin Luther: Very interested to see if BCC can keep this competitive for a bit. They still have a shot at a postseason bid (possibly at 3-4) if they beat Dominican next week but ML won't fall to upset here.

Kenosha St. Joseph's at Shoreland Lutheran: KSJ got rocked last week. They return the favor this week against Shoreland.

Saturday, 9/28

Racine St. Catherine's at Racine Lutheran: GOTW here. I may travel down to Racine to take in this one if Mother Nature doesn't move a few of the Friday games to Saturday.

St. Thomas More at Dominican: Dominican is wondering what could've been this year but still could sneak in to the playoffs at 3-4.
