Marquette at Brookfield Central - Two teams playing at a level neither really foresaw, though BC is less surprising. Marquette struggled to run the football against Tosa East and at this point you have to think that's not gonna pick up at any point this year. Putting the onus on a shaky passing game to carry the day is not a good proposition. I'll put my money on Lampkin and the Lancer ground game to carpe diem here.

Germantown at Kettle Moraine - Germantown had struggled offensively most of the year but then took it to an increasingly-disappointing Sussex Hamilton  (without Erato, mind you) squad last week to re-open their playoff hopes. KM was not able to put together back-to-back shockers as they were controlled from beginning to end by a Mukwonago team that may be better than anyone thought coming into the year. The mid-to-lower tier of the C8 > than its counterpart in the GMC, so I'll take the Lasers (and the points) here.

West Allis Hale at Sussex Hamilton - Hamilton with a stinker of a performance against Germantown and suddenly find their playoff hopes in peril. For whatever reason, Sussex, a ground-oriented team, struggles to gain much traction on the ground in 2019. While I don't think they're in great danger here, they certainly need to be careful, because a surprise loss here would realistically make a playoff berth a mountain too high.

Brookfield East at Wauwatosa East - The Donavin Hunt Bowl should be over by halftime. B'East not particularly great offensively outside their dynamic back, but Tosa East unlikely to give much resistance to where that would cause the Spartans trouble.

Menomonee Falls at Wauwatosa West - It ended up being a major talking point in the area, but Falls' decision to sit most of its first-string in the mid-season non-con last week had some people scratching their heads and others a little ticked. Well, time to see if it pays off for them with just four games between them and a surprise (and undefeated) conference title.

Marquette at Brookfield Central - Marquette's defense has had a couple weeks to get over the Muskego hangover, and that ought to be enough to shut down a fairly one-dimensional BC squad. The question remains whether their offense is up to the task of coming up with the tough yards and third-down conversions. So far this year that hasn't happened, but you have to imagine they'll put it together soon.

Germantown at Kettle Moraine - KM really pulled a stunner on Memorial but after the loss last week, you have to wonder if for some reason they just matched up really, really well with the Crusaders. That one quality win is the only difference between them and Germantown right now, but it's a big one, so I'll take the Lasers.

West Allis Hale at Sussex Hamilton - Hale is at least a year away from being competitive in this game, which might be just the tonic Hamilton needs to get untracked.

Brookfield East at Wauwatosa East - Tosa East could be competitive in the Woodland East. Brookfield East would go undefeated and possibly shut out the entire conference if they played in the Woodland East.

Menomonee Falls at Wauwatosa West - I kind of get it, Falls. Taking a chance to play some underclassmen and build their confidence / experience at midseason against a quality program could pay dividends down the road, and yeah, the Davis injury last year really burned you so you want to stay healthy... but seriously? In high school football?

This is a rivalry game so I expect it to be tough and hard fought. Lampkin steals the show.

Germantown at Kettle Moraine

West Allis Hale at Sussex Hamilton
I hit it on the head about this team earlier in the season. They cruise here.

Brookfield East at Wauwatosa East
Donovan Hunt (Best RB in the state) have you seen his film? He’s ridiculous.

Menomonee Falls at Wauwatosa West
Assuming they play to win I’ve got Falls here. Don’t sleep on West.

Marquette at Brookfield Central: BC has been very much a second half team this year. MUHS has struggled to gain it's trademark offensive identity consistently this season. I have to go with the Lancers here simply because Lampkin will eventually find holes to run through.

Germantown at Kettle Moraine: GTown may have punched their postseason ticket with the win against Sussex last week. KM is very much in the playoff hunt this year, and they'll bring it here.

West Allis Hale at Sussex Hamilton: Hale continues to make strides back to being a competitive outfit. I wouldn't be too surprised if they make this a game for a bit against a banged up Charger squad but in the end Hamilton comes back with a win.

Brookfield East at Wauwatosa East: The fact that TE gave MUHS fits by shutting down the run game for the most part last week tells the story of how out of sync MUHS's offense has been. However BEast isn't going to fall into the same pit here.

Menomonee Falls at Wauwatosa West: Well Falls, you may have blown up a possible 1 or 2 seed with resting your starters last week. Against a second tier team like Hale or TE, you could've done that but against WW? Ooof. Part of me wants to see TW pull of the upset now but I feel like Falls pulls away here.
