Racine Horlick at Milwaukee Morse-Marshall  8   Horlick should have another good year with their remaining talent, not quite as good as last year but still a solid team.  This will be a blowout.

Friday, 8/17

Kenosha Indian Trail at Hudson   7    KIT is likely in for another down year overall.  Hudson is very very good, this could be an ugly one.

Westosha Central at Racine Case   3   Case is improved and with all 3 Kenosha teams being down or in a state of transition, this could be the year they finally break into the playoffs.  Case's superior athleticism pulls off the W.

Franklin at Waterford   4   Franklin is Franklin.  They likely regain the SEC title back from Horlick this year.  Waterford will give them a run for their money, this will be a great game, much closer than last year.

Oak Creek at Wisconsin Lutheran   5   It will be interesting to see if a new head coach can help OC finally live up to all their potential this year.  What happened to WISCO?!  OC wins going away.

West Allis Central at Kenosha Tremper  1   The struggles at Tremper appear to be the new norm, don't see much changing this year.  This game will be ugly on both sides and Trempers likely only win of the season again.

Wilmot at Kenosha Bradford   6    Bradford lost a ton to graduation and their Head Coach.  Hard to see them having much early success, but they could be a late bloomer this year.  Wilmot lost a decent amount of talent but you'd be hard pressed to find a harder working team.

Pius XI at Racine Park  2   Another new coach at Park, don't see much changing other than that.  If Park can squeek this one out they can probably get to 2-7 again with their likely only conference win coming over Tremper, otherwise they're looking at 1-8.

Predicted order of finish:
1) Franklin*
2) Horlick*
3) OC*
4a) Bradford*
4b) Case
4)c KIT
7) Park
8) Tremper
*playoff qualifiers

Wouldn't be surprised to see a few teams at 3-3 right on the cusp of the playoffs come week 9.  Bradford-Case week 9 will probably determine the leagues final playoff qualifier.

Racine Horlick at Milwaukee Morse-Marshall - Horlick lost a massive senior class, but still has some players. New era begins over at Marshall. They still should be formidable in the confines of the City, but not outside of it.

Friday, 8/17

Kenosha Indian Trail at Hudson - KIT lost quite a bit and Hudson brings back one of the state's top QBs and a successful tradition.

Westosha Central at Racine Case - WC had a resurgent year, but the catalyst for that, QB Jaden Jackson, has graduated. Still, a large portion of the contributors are back. The same cannot be said for Case, who took a bit of a hit with their graduation losses.

Franklin at Waterford - Waiting for Franklin to have a down year? You'll be waiting for a long time by the looks of it. SLC teams have given the Sabers a bit of trouble over the years, and the Wolverines are no slouches themselves. Franklin always finds a way in the end though.

Oak Creek at Wisconsin Lutheran - This was a massacre last year as OC was just too fast and experienced for a very green WISCO side. Things should be a little different this year as most of those WISCO players are back, while OC lost a lot and has a new coach. Still expect the Knights to be victorious, but not by a 48-point margin.

West Allis Central at Kenosha Tremper - To be honest, I don't really know what WAC has this year, but I do know they lost many contributors from a not-very-good squad a year ago. Tremper themselves weren't much better a year ago either, but they won then, and they'll probably win now.

Wilmot at Kenosha Bradford - Major roster turnover abound in this game. Just not sure if there's enough talent in KUSD to sustain three viable teams. Could all three miss the playoffs this year? A real possibility.

Pius XI at Racine Park - This was a tight one last year with Park winning thanks to some big plays down the stretch. Both teams have a new top man, but Pius also experienced bigger grad losses than Park and has a young, undersized and inexperienced roster this year. Park by two scores.

Racine Horlick at Milwaukee Morse-Marshall: Despite losing a very talented core to graduating, I think Horlick will be fine in the Southeast this year.

Friday, 8/17

Kenosha Indian Trail at Hudson: KIT has been trending in the wrong direction as of late.

Westosha Central at Racine Case: Case could make things interesting once league play starts but they are very unknown here.

Franklin at Waterford: This will be bit more competitive than last year's blasting but Franklin has too much for Waterford to contend with.

Oak Creek at Wisconsin Lutheran: WISCO should be better and this game will be quite a bit closer than last year's affair but Creek wins.

West Allis Central at Kenosha Tremper: Could be a long year for WAC and Tremper but at least the Trojans start the year off 1-0.

Wilmot at Kenosha Bradford: Bradford should be the best of the KUSD schools again but they lost quite a bit. Three bid league for the Southeast this year? Stay tuned.

Pius XI at Racine Park: Park should start off the year right.
