West Bend East at Cedarburg - Cedarburg has really hit a downturn football-wise. WBE snuck into the playoffs last year and is looking to build on that. The Suns bring back some players who can help make that happen.

Grafton at West Bend West - WBW did grab two wins last year, but I struggle to see them building on that. Grafton, on the other hand, may be building on something.

Homestead at Port Washington - PW looks in store for a solid year with some top-level talent. Homestead always has a solid year and always has top-level talent...lol.

Hartford at Nicolet - Nicolet got better last year. A trend I think will continue under Coach Moroder. Hartford had a nice year a year ago and brings back a real good core and is hoping to make some serious noise in the NSC.

Whitefish Bay at Slinger - I like Slinger this year. Good amount of quality coming back. Bay will be alright as well, but will have a tough time overcoming heavy graduation losses in the early going.

Games of Note

Kenosha Indian Trail at Hudson - KIT lost quite a bit and Hudson brings back one of the state's top QBs and a successful tradition.

Westosha Central at Racine Case - WC had a resurgent year, but the catalyst for that, QB Jaden Jackson, has graduated. Still, a large portion of the contributors are back. The same cannot be said for Case, who took a bit of a hit with their graduation losses.

Burlington at South Milwaukee - The SLC has owned the Woodland in recent times. Shouldn't have any problem with the Rockets, but Burlington has to replace some of their top contributors. Is it enough to give pause on this pick? No, not really.

Friday,

West Bend East at Cedarburg: Hard times have come to Cedarburg. Kinda shocking how they plummeted to 1-8 last season. East will probably sneak into the playoffs at 4-5 provided they don't slip up anywhere.

Grafton at West Bend West: West should be better but they have a lot of ground to make up in the league. Grafton could very well end the long playoff drought this season.

Homestead at Port Washington: Homestead somehow finds ways to at least get a share for a league title the last few years. Not sure what Port brings back this season.

Hartford at Nicolet: Really strong showing by the O's last year. Looks like more of the same for them. Nicolet will endure some more growing pains but could surprise a few teams.

Whitefish Bay at Slinger: I like Slinger here....but I really think Bay's penchant of punching above it's weight will come into play in this one.
