Wasn’t the conference alignment based on the 2017 record? How is Regan in the Blackbourn division and not Tech? Didn’t they finish with a better record than tech last season?

North Division at Madison - It's hard to pick North until they actually win a game on the field, but it's not out of the realm of possibility in this one.

South Division at Custer - Going with the upset here. South has been nothing if not consistent, where Custer has been the complete opposite of that...their struggles vs. North last week were quite telling. Lot of hope coming into the year, but front-loaded schedule has crushed that.

Bradley Tech at Washington - Dearth of stats being reported (c'mon what are we paying these stat guys for in MPS if they aren't calling them in) and not having seen either team means this game is a mystery to me. So, take Tom.

Marshall at Bay View - Marshall keeping their high level of play from the last couple years under a new coach is a bit surprising to me.

Reagan at Riverside - Reagan grinds, you have to give them that, but against opponents like this they are always undone by size and speed...two things they lack.

Friday, 9/14

Vincent at Pulaski - I think Vincent fell a little too in love with the pass last week. The designed QB runs were working well. Not sure why Hurt got so few touches out of the backfield. They certainly had an advantage in the trenches. That won't be an issue regardless this week.

Saturday, 9/15

Rufus King at Hamilton - Hamilton is mid-tier in this division. The game against Marshall showed that. Expect more of the same here.

They both had four wins, but Reagan did have a better conference record. Perhaps they didn't feel right about putting a program with that many playoff appearances in the weaker division?😎

There's also a case to be made for Vincent being in the Richardson in their place, given that they won most of their games on the field last year that they had to forfeit.

North Division at Madison: Can North do it? We will see on that theory.

South Division at Custer: Custer has largely disappointed this season. I can see South coming in here and stealing the win.

Bradley Tech at Washington: Tech has shown that they are getting better as the year has gone on. Washington? Not so much.

Marshall at Bay View: Eagles win running away.

Reagan at Riverside: Huskies find it hard to get anything going here.

Friday, 9/14

Vincent at Pulaski: This will get out of hand quickly.

Saturday, 9/15

Rufus King at Hamilton: King is the obvious 2 or 3 in this division.
