Martin Luther at Racine St. Catherine's - One team has more talent. The other is getting by on one mercurial player and tons of heart. IDK here. ML did very little offensively in the first matchup but still hung around to the end. RSC coasted a bit last week after a quick start and from the sounds of things player incredibly sloppy football (12 penalties). They'll have to be laser-focused this week because this is a game their opponents wanted. I'm trepidacious here. Sticking with the Angels for now. This has the markings of a classic HS football playoff game.

Racine Lutheran at Cambridge - As I sort of suspected, RaLu would find the sailing much more smooth against Mineral Point. Definitely surprised that their defense also came to play though. I suspect more of the same here. Cambridge is similar to MP, perhaps even a bit better, but a two-headed backfield monster is tough to stop.

Martin Luther at Racine St. Catherine's - This is seriously the best slate of playoff games I've seen in a long, long time. How do you pick just one to attend? Even in D4 it's a titanic grudge match like this featuring two of Wisconsin's most explosive players. While I think the Angels have a better supporting cast, it'd be fair to say GML's unsung heroes are better than advertised too. Still, this is the year St. Cat's has been pointing to for three seasons now... it's going to take a monumental effort by the Spartans' D to derail them.

Racine Lutheran at Cambridge - Purple Lutherans looking to put another big run together? This could be a great weekend for Racine... or not.

Ghost of Jim Haluska at St. Thomas More - The old ball coach returns from the grave on Halloween and applies a set of old-school disciplinary measures to everyone making football decisions at STM.

Racine St. Catherine's: Did not expect ML to struggle that much on D against Kiel but they had to rally behind their war horse in DC-R. RSC should win this again in a tight affair.

Ra Lutheran: Nice to see the Cap South having better postseason success than the last few years. However even Matt Kenseth's alma mater will be hard pressed to stop Lutheran here.
