Sheboygan Falls at Racine St. Catherine's - Sheboygan Falls had a struggle with Brown Deer to start the year and didn't exactly blow away a below average St. Francis team in Level 1. I fancy that the Falcons haven't seen anything like what they're about to see on Friday at any point this year. RSC wins comfortably.

Martin Luther at Kiel - ML demolished Campbellsport and while that won't be the case here, I don't exactly see the Spartans sweating this one out either, setting up the rematch everyone has been waiting for with much more on the line this time around.

Racine Lutheran at Mineral Point - RaLu had all they can handle with Pecatonica/Argyle, a team that plays D7 competition all year long. Save for one long TD run, Tenner was held to about a yard a carry, and also took a punt to the house alongside a TD catch, but that was about it for positive plays for RaLu. That lack of consistent offensive production has to be worrying. In fairness SW Wisconsin teams are known for their physicality and P/A often fits that mold. Interestingly, MP also hails from that area, but doesn't quite fit that mold. They are super athletic though and I expect them to put up points at will against a Crusaders D that has been suspect against ML and RSC.. I'll take the Pointers in a high-scoring affair.

Sheboygan Falls at Racine St. Catherine's - This St. Cat's team would have put up a lot more points on St. Francis than Falls did. Speed, athleticism and strength win out here.

Martin Luther at Kiel - The next team to bottle up the outside on GML and force DCR to get his yards between the tackles will be the first. Even St. Cat's wasn't completely effective at that. I think Kiel stacks the box and dares Luther to beat them through the air, but DCR still pops loose for a couple anyway and carries them into a rematch.

Racine Lutheran at Mineral Point - Last season's unexpected run by the Purple Lutherans is still caught in my head, but the truth is, I just don't know enough about these small-school, outstate public school teams and conferences. The one thing I do know is that somewhere along the line, teams that steamrolled the Metro Classic always seem to finally run into a school that plays tough defense and shuts them down. And RaLu didn't steamroll the Metro Classic.
