Wauwatosa East at Menomonee Falls - You'd like to think that Davis will play at some point, but they won't really need him here to secure a playoff berth.

Germantown at Brookfield East - Germantown has improved as the year has gone one, but B'East's defense should be able to shut them down, and the Spartans O will have more than enough to win.

Brookfield Central at Sussex Hamilton - A bit of a tricky game. On one hand, BC should be able to move the ball...however, Sussex has some serious players on the defensive side of the ball. Sussex's lack of O will be their downfall.

West Allis Hale at Marquette - Don't know if MUHS got caught in the afterglow of beating BC last week, but that game was a little too close for comfort. This week there should be no such problem.

Waukesha North at Wauwatosa West - North flexes their weight outside the confines of the Classic 8.

Week Eight Matchups

Wauwatosa East at Menomonee Falls - I'd love to see Davis back too. You have to think those folks in the Falls are planning another Menasha Ambush come playoff time.

Germantown at Brookfield East - G'Town has improved over the course of the year, and been on a real upswing the last three weeks especially. They gave Marquette everything they could handle last week, and East just lost a physical one to BC.  I'll take the momentum pick.

Brookfield Central at Sussex Hamilton - I've always been told that Damato is a stand-up guy and has built a great, quality program.  If the good guys got what they deserved, Hamilton would be the hands-down winner of this game.

West Allis Hale at Marquette - Marquette's not in the business of embarrassing anybody, and that's one thing to like about them. Not sure if they'll be able to help themselves here, unfortunately.

Waukesha North at Wauwatosa West - North needs this one for their program.

Games of Note

Arrowhead at Mukwonago - Wow, here's a real hum-dinger. Arrowhead has the hot hand, though.

Racine Horlick at Franklin - Last year, the weather ambushed Franklin and gave Horlick a huge advantage in a stunning upset. I don't think the Sabres let that happen again, even with thunderstorms in the early forecast. They feel like Wilson's a pretty good back and they're not afraid to use him.

Wauwatosa East at Menomonee Falls: Regardless if Davis plays or not. Falls shouldn't have many issues this week. East has gone down the tubes as of late.

Germantown at Brookfield East: East should be careful here. G-Town has a ton of momentum on their side as of late.

Brookfield Central at Sussex Hamilton: Sussex needs to find some offense if they want to make a serious run in the postseason.

West Allis Hale at Marquette: At least Hale did not get running clocked last week. However their offense has been downright atrocious as of late. Marquette has no problems here.

Waukesha North at Wauwatosa West: Could be a season of what could've been for both teams if they were in not as rugged conferences.
