Oconomowoc at Waukesha North - I thought, like most, that last week's cross-town game would be a tighter affair than it was. It's really too bad this North team the last few years hasn't been in any other league besides this one. It's also really too bad the Wisconsin Little Ten doesn't still exist if you're Cooney.

Kettle Moraine at Muskego - Muskego had more trouble with CMH than I think was expected, needing a two-point stop to preserve the W. KM didn't really show out against Arrowhead and now the C8 playoff picture is even muddier as KM stares loss #3 in the face. KM has some back-end schedule relief, but doesn't wanna start playing with fire.

Waukesha South at Arrowhead - I'd like to think the Blackshirts have an outside shot here, but it looks like the QB switch did AHS some good...probably should have done it in Week 1 like last year though.

Waukesha West at Mukwonago - This should be a good one. Mukwonago has taken care of business the last two weeks, while the Wolverines have treaded water. A playoff berth is essentially on the line for the Indians, and they'd be wise to wrap that up now.

Catholic Memorial at Sussex Hamilton - Anyone else feel like Sussex has been a bit Jekyll-and-Hyde this year? Guess it comes with the territory of running that offense. CMH has to be kicking themselves after last week's near-miss, and would be wise to stem any negative mojo in this non-conference tilt.

Oconomowoc at Waukesha North - It wasn’t long ago Cooney had one of the most dynamic offenses in the area and ran roughshod in the WLT.

Kettle Moraine at Muskego - KM has struggled, but it will get easier soon.

Waukesha South at Arrowhead - Hmmmmmm, so I’m not expecting South to win. But then again, who knows. Still though, tradition wins these games.

Waukesha West at Mukwonago - Head says to take the rising team over the team trying to keep the well pumping. Should be a good one.

Catholic Memorial at Sussex Hamilton - Uneasy confidence but I think the Crusaders had a great showing despite the loss.

Oconomowoc at Waukesha North: Probably the next best chance for a win for the Coons. I bet they are missing playing West Bend West every year for football.

Kettle Moraine at Muskego: And just like this, the Lasers margin for error becomes thinner. That's what happens when you let a team desperate for a win actually get said result last week.

Waukesha South at Arrowhead: Well Arrowhead may have saved their season last week. They make it two straight here. South is fortunate to have beat Cooney this year.

Waukesha West at Mukwonago: Have this feeling that this could the opposite way but with the way Muk has played this season so far, I can't go against them here.

Catholic Memorial at Sussex Hamilton: That decision to go for two will sting a bit for the Crusaders. Then again it's a "What could've been?" type of deals on that. Hamilton has shown that they could hang with teams that have more talent than them but I think CM gets back on track here.

Oconomowoc at Waukesha North - I'll take what DB said and echo it. It's such a shame that North doesn't get a shot at a more favorable schedule... unfortunately though, even in a powerhouse conference, somebody has to lose the games. So far this year, that's been "Cooney".

Kettle Moraine at Muskego - Muskego has to avoid a letdown here in this matchup of former Suburban Park Conference road trip teams. They won't sleep on KM or what those guys can do, and that doesn't bode well for the Lasers.

Waukesha South at Arrowhead - Nice to see Arrowhead's kicker help decide last week's game after all the fanfare around the KM kid kicking at UW next year. A good win but these are still not your older brother's Warhawks. Take care of business this week and let's see if they can't start building some momentum, though.

Waukesha West at Mukwonago - West is young and young teams improve week to week. For all their tradition, that has been their challenge this year. Mukwonago has a new coach, but it's become really clear that he's an experienced coach who knows the conference and knows how to use his talent. This is one of those "prove it" games where you see what both teams are made of. I'll take Mukwonago but man, what a tough choice.

Catholic Memorial at Sussex Hamilton - Amazing that a one-point loss to Muskego on a failed 2-point conversion dropped Memorial in the state rankings for "mid-sized schools". Tells you what those rankings are actually worth. Memorial will roll here.
