Saturday September 19
North Park (IL) at UW Oshkosh ( The titans got their first win of the season last week by obliterating Finlandia 86-0. North Park lost in a shootout to St. Norberts. This has all the makings that it could be a shootout, but the Titans defense will stand tall in this one. Titans win 31-17.)

North Central (IL) at UW Platteville ( This is by far the game of the week in the country as you have two top 25 teams and I believe one top ten team in North central. Both Platteville and Central have looked great so far. The competition hasn?t been great yet so this will be the real test. I feel the overall WIAC provides more completion therefore I think Platteville wins a huge game 34-31 sending a message to the rest of the WIAC that it will be a three team race this year.

Finlandia (MI) at UW Whitewater ( The lions lost 86-0 last week to Oshkosh and now they travel to the 2 time DIII national champions. If you thought last week was ugly this week will be worse. It woulnt shock me to see the Warhawks hang 100 on them. Will it happen probably not but just for fun I really think they win 100-0.)

COE (IA) at UW Stevens Point ( Point had a week off to fix a defense that allowed 65 in the opening week of the season. They did score 52 that game however, so the offense will be just fine. They have too much fire power for COE to keep up with and should win this won 49-31.)

UW La Crosse at Mary Hardin-Baylore (TX) ( I don?t know much about MHB, but they are from texas so they will have athletes. La Crosse got manhandled by the Tommies last week and look to rebound. They were seen as a dark horse team in the WIAC this year, but after two games they are no where near that level of competition yet. The eagles I think will squeak by in this one 28-27.)

Wheaton (IL) at UW Eau Claire ( The Bluegolds are terrible and the end to their season cant come soon enough. They sould be more competitive in this game but it still wont be enough as they fall yet again 31-20.)

South Dakota School of Mines & Technology (SD) at UW River Falls ( The Falcons battled tough in week one but came up just short 28-21. They have had a week to recover. The problem is now they face a team that isn?t even in their region and that is generally a challenge when you don?t have much film on them. I expect the falcons to keep it close early, but will come unglued in the second half and fall 35-14)

Wartburg (IA) at UW Stout ( Blue Devils had a nice rebound win last week, but their defense remains a huge issue. Wartburg will be able to put points on the board in a hurry. This game has shootout makings again but this time stout ends up on wrong end 49-35)

River Falls went to and beat SDSMT last season 43-28. Word is that SDSMT has an entirely new coaching staff which will present challenges for the Falcons. Playing at home under the lights should help the Falcons. Should be a close game.

UW-Oshkosh
North Central
UW-Whitewater...could easily hit triple digits
UW-Stevens Point
Mary Hardin Baylor
Wheaton
UW-RF
Wartburg
God, Family and the Green Bay Packers
