It's the beginning of a new season, so let's get this forum talking about it.

I am wondering what everyone thinks about the upcoming season, where everyone thinks the teams will end up at the end of the season, and teams/players to watch. Please feel free to comment and express your opinions. We need to get this forum talking again.

Here are my preseason predictions:

1. Stoughton
2. Oregon
3. Monona Grove
4. Monroe
5. Edgewood
6. Fort Atkinson
7. Milton

Monona Grove will be far and away better than Oregon. Coming off an outstanding football season, that will without a doubt lead to success on the court.

As far as players go, obviously McGlynn will be the top player in the conference. Besides that, it's pretty wide open. What does everyone think?

Excited this forum is getting back up and running!

As I predicted, Stoughton is out to a hot start going 3-0. With a balanced scoring attack, the Vikings have taken down the always talented Aquinas Bluegolds. McGlynn has started strong with surprising support from the freshman Troy Slaby. I know it is early, but it is exciting to see the youth of the conference shining through.

A few tough losses for the traditionally tough Monroe Cheesemakers and Edgewood Crusaders against larger Big 8 Conference schools will be very beneficial when it comes to the upcoming conference schedule. I was very surprised the way Monroe's Kevin Noriega played in the first couple games. He should prove to be a tough guard the next couple years.

Fort Atkinson and Milton have both lost to Stevens Point early here in the season. They have both gotten a few wins but I still think they will be the dogs of the Badger Conference.

Once the conference schedule gets underway, we will be able to see how everyone stacks up.

Like I predicted, MG and Stoughton have gotten off to a hot start. McGlynn and Nelson Jr. are a head above everybody else in the conference in putting the ball in the basket. Should be a great game when these 2 teams meet in early January.

I am also surprised at Milton taking down Oregon. I guess we will find out if they are for real if they can pull off a win down at Monroe Friday.
