This post is to promote activity on the CWC-10 conference forum board in a positive and mature manner. And in no way berating or "putting a target" (in a simpleton way of phrasing it) on athletes, coaches, or communities of any school districts.

What game or games will be the best of the season to watch, and who will in your point of view do you think will come out on top of the CWC-10?

I think wild rose has a good shot at the title considering they return almost every starter from a 6-4 team. Marion-tigerton has a very good program though and are always competitive. They lost a lot of skill position players off last years team though.

Port has a chance to be 6-0 when they face Marion/Tigerton.......

I think Wild Rose wins it outright, but it could be another 3-way tie like it was 2 years ago.
A Playoff will not be any more fair than the BCS.
No matter what happens, Favre > Rodgers.
St. Louis Cardinals = Class of MLB.
Carlos Gomez is the new Nyjer Morgan.....

Port didnt really have an impressive game against a mediocre Seneca. Are you sure that port has a quality enough team to win against either Wild Rose or marian-Tigerton for a three way tie possible? Almond almost looks better than port, and Tri county won their opener. I think this year will be more competitive for the middle of the conference.

Whoa, i should really check my facts. But Wild Rose is ranked compared to Port whom isnt. I just really think that Port lacks the needed talent to overcome the well established football programs of Wild Rose and Marion-Tigerton.

I agree with you gigantor, however, I remember 2 years ago when they went into port and got beaten in surprising fashion. Watch out for Gruber. Wild Rose does look awfully good this year though. I was at the I-S game and really liked Hudziak at qb. He was even effective throwing the ball. 4-5 for 50 yards and a 2 pt. conversion pass completion. You know with our wishbone thats a lot of pass attempts! What happended to Kasaboski, didnt even see his number, must be hurt. Paeth looked EXCELLENT. Alec Dix's speed was outstanding as well. I noticed one thing different from last year;it seemed like their offensive and defensive lines are more physical than last year.I just hope our defense holds up. We have a chance to do great things this year. They have to take one game at a time. There are no WEAK opponents. Next up Necedah. Probably toughest opponent on our schedule. Caswell will have the boys ready. Question is,how good is Marion-Tigerton?

Congratulations to Tri-County on a great season so far. The program is on the upswing. I do however agree with gigantor, tri-county's record is partly a product of their weak schedule. But lets face it,the old tri-county couldn't beat the 'weaker' schools, so they're much better than they used to be. TCs success brings more respect to our conference. They'll have their chance to prove themselves when they play wild rose in a few weeks. I do believe the wildcats have the advantage. Wild Rose has played the toughest schedule in the conference, losing to 2 D5 programs, including #5 ranked Necedah. They had their chances in both losses. They were in the red zone several times against Necedah but could'nt punch it in. That would be exciting to see the cats play a 6-0
penguins team! Looking forward to the game. []

Darn, i was really hopeing wild rose would play an undefeated T.C.. Looks like Plainfield had a hard game against Fall river, and I counted 6 sacks on T.C. and three int. Must of really been a tough game. Whatever happend, T.C. better pick it up a notch at their homecoming
