There is a probability that 2 Siren Players in the Doubleheader coming up Tuesday with St. Croix Falls that could both hit 1000 points. Would be quite a feat to have 2 players hit the mark on the same night. Does anyone know if this has been done before?

Siren Junior Elijah Hinze and Senior Ashley Guevara both will go over the 1000th point mark this Tuesday (2/15) at home against Saint Croix Falls. Not sure if this has been done before on the same night- not to my recollection.

Very impressive and it would be awesome if they both reached 1000 on the same night. Out of curiousity, does anyone know how close Emery is to 2000 points?

Carley is about 150 points away from 2000 if see averages her 28+ points per game for the rest of the season and plays at least 2 playoff games see will hit the 2000 point mark

Another 1000 point scorer is possible in the West Lakeland Conference; Kourtney Morrin is 19 points away from the 1000 point plateau. She probably would have attained the 1000 a couple weeks ago, but a knee injury against Siren has hampered her in the quest for 1000 points.

Carley is 157 points away from 2000.

Believe Kortney Morrin only has 730 Points. According to the stats and there is the
possibility they could be wrong, she has scored 14, 368, 196 and 152.
Again, the stats posted could be incorrect.

Congratulations to both Ashley Guevara and Elizah Hinze as they entered the 1000 point club
on Tuesday night. Ashley's basket with 2:15 left in the 3rd Quarter and Elizah's basket with 2:11 left in the 2nd Quarter.

Congrats to both of them, especially Hienz for reaching the mark as a junior. Siren should be tough next year with him and Brown back.

Congratulations to Kourtney Morrin on going over the 1000 point mark; scoring her 1000 point on two free throws with about 1 minute to go in the game in the Pirates comeback win against Frederic on Tuesday nigh.

The only similar situation I've heard of was several years ago at South Shore when Jessica Johnson scored to reach 1,000 points just a minute or so before Jolene Anderson scored to become the all-time leading scorer in the state. In fact, they were both in need of two points to reach their respective milestones when they stole the ball and went down court on a 2-on-0. Jessica passed to Jolene for the lay-up, but Jolene returned it to Jessica so she could get her recognition first. It was a classy move.

According to my sources, Emery hit 2000 last night against Minog Northwood. Siren won 65-62 in 2OT. Good luck to the Dragons in sectionals and hopefully they can make it to Madison.

Emery had actually crossed the 2,000 point plateau on a FT late in the game against Luck in the regional semifinal. She was playing with two defenders on her most of the game, and Guevara really stepped up and took over for Siren. Had she not, Emery might not have gotten to 2,000 and Siren might have taken an early playoff exit.

Thanks for the correction. I think the switch-up with the WIAA playoff dates screwed me up.
